Rae Du Soleil, I didn’t make room for tears in my schedule today.
Let me start off by saying this: “Another Road” is a very beautiful song. Will you hear it in nightclubs or pool parties? No, but if you are privileged enough to have it in your music library, it can serve as the ultimate sedative. For starters, what I love about the track is that it features this soothing instrumental that does everything in its power to ease stress. From there, I enjoy how Rae Du Soleil sings serenely about searching for solace in her life, while also acknowledging how hard/refreshing it was for her to leave her past behind. When it’s all said and done, you’ll love how Rae describes her life journey to us in this track, and how it probably aligns with the road you either need to take or have taken in your own life already.
