Kalel lets his heart bleed.
“Eavesdropping” masterfully captures a lot of what the younger generation is feeling/going through these days. It can be easy to feel lost when you’re torn between doing “what you should be doing” and doing what you want to do; which is a feeling people in generation Z experience quite frequently. When Kalel says, “this part of my life feels like an interlude,” he embodies that feeling perfectly. As for sonically, Kalel dominates the serene beat that powers the track, making sure that his voice stands above all. His ability to relate to what people are going through takes the song to a whole nother level.
