I know, the first thing that will catch your attention about “Boyshorts” is the artwork attached to it. On it, some shorts get swallowed up by a force that isn’t from this planet. While your eyes are occupied, your ears will get a chance to be pleasured by a truly solid rap performance by Intelligent Diva once you press play on the song.
“Boyshorts” is both raw and catchy. With the song being powered by this uptempo club instrumental, Intelligent Diva lets loose, spitting unapologetic bars about getting her man to get aroused, flabbergasted, and sprung (She makes these things happen in some very interesting ways, BTW). While I love the persistent flow the Jacksonville native raps with on the song, I think it’s her spicy demeanor that catches my attention the most.
