I love when YFN Lucci gets emotional on records!
YFN Lucci is such an underrated rapper. Not only does he make music that is hood emotional, but he also has a knack for creating melodies that are beyond infectious. “Fuck It,” the Atlanta rapper’s latest single, straddles the line between his two strongest suits masterfully.
“Fuck It” features a piano-heavy trap instrumental that does everything in its power to make you feel emotional. Over it, YFN Lucci and Jackboy both melodically let the world know that they are thugs that love smashing women, carrying pistols, and hitting licks. While YFN sounds a lot grungier than Jack does in the song, both rappers succeed in making you feel something in your soul on their respective verses.
YFN Lucci sounds like a preacher, while Jackboy sounds like Kodak Black.
