Drake Gets Vulnerable In “When To Say When”

WHEN TO SAY WHEN

Drake

OVERALL RATING (???)

Last night, Drake dropped two new tracks for us through SoundCloud. While the first one, “Chicago Freestyle,” is pretty f**king mopey, this second one, “When To Say When,” has a little more oomph to it.

“When To Say When” is powered by this flipped version of Jay-Z’s “Song Cry” instrumental. Because of this, you get a version of Drake that is completely vulnerable. Throughout the song, he opens up about his relationship with his baby mama, his impact on the hip-hop game, his luxurious ways, and his loyalty to his family and friends. Though everything around Drake sounds somber as s**t in the song, he sounds pretty trill on his raps.

Remember the days when you liked Drake’s music because it was relatable to you? Welp, those days are long gone… (I do not have millions of dollars, a child, or crazy hip-hop success)
