Run The Jewels are back with some serious heat.
Though Run The Jewels is a duo that is phenomenal at rapping, I think it’s their rebellious ways that sticks out the most, to me. With that being said, “Ooh LA LA,” their latest single, is a song that thrives off of rawness and unapologetic bars.
“Ooh LA LA” is powered by this hard-hitting beat by DJ Premier that damn-there knocked the laptop off of my computer desk. Over it, both Killer Mike and El go ham, spitting complex bars that revolve around royalty, good smoke, and lawlessness. As usual, you will love the chemistry you hear between the two rappers on the song, even when they are cutting each other off.
The world needs a Run The Jewels album right now.
