Asher Roth’s mind is beautiful.
I can’t believe it has been eleven years since Asher Roth dropped “I Love College.” As you can imagine, since then, he’s grown a lot. With that being said, on his latest single, “Flowers On The Weekend,” the 34-year old comes across like a thankful wise man that appreciates his personal relationships and glutton-free doo-doo.
“Flowers On the Weekend” is powered by this smooth-ass instrumental that might f**k around and put you to sleep. Over it, Asher raps fantastically, hitting us with punchlines that are clever and wordplay that is astute.
On the real, I’ve always admired Asher Roth’s ability to turn beats upside down with his complex style of rapping.
