I like Kehlani when she’s in a semi-happy place.
Kehlani’s new album, It Was Good Until It Wasn’t, will release on May 8th. On it, I expect to hear a good mix of sappy and bombastic love songs. “F&MU,” the latest single off of the album, features a good mix of both characteristics.
On “F&MU,” Kehlani talks about being in a relationship that it is rockier than Denver, Colorado. Throughout the song, the Bay Area native sings passionately about hating her man but also having good sex with him. All in all, “F&MU” boasts great melodies and juicy lyrics.
