Enough babies have been made these last couple of weeks, we don’t need more, Lloyd!
At one time in my dusty-ass life, Lloyd was my favorite singer. I thought he bridged the gap between youthful and veteran lover in his music masterfully. Today, Lloyd has decided to drop “Slow Wine Bass Line” — a song that indicates that he still knows how to bridge that gap.
“Slow Wine Bass Line” is a baby-making song (There’s no other way to put it). It features production by Teddy Riley that is smoother than TJ Houzyourmama’s hair and lyrics by Lloyd that are romantic, affectionate, and slightly freaky. As for vocally, the former Murder Inc. star shows the world that he still has a youthful-ass voice that is capable of getting any woman to unclothe (How, Sway?).
