Jim Jones has never been one of my favorite rappers, but he has always kept it real in his music. On “The People,” the Harlem rapper keeps it so real, I can see JLo getting jealous.
“The People” features lyrics by Jim Jones that are powerful, honest, and confrontational. Not only are you going to appreciate how Jim bluntly calls out crooked cops and Donald Trump on the song, but you are also going to find it interesting how he promotes fiery protests. You are also going to love the soulful beat Harry Fraud hooked Jim up with (That s**t is one of the hottest beats I’ve heard this year).
