Bar for bar, Dame D.O.L.L.A. is better than 90% of the rappers you think are hot. Not only is he capable of rapping dynamically, but in his music, he actually talks about s**t that matters. On “Blacklist,” the Portland Trailblazer spits unadulterated bars about racism, Geroge Floyd’s senseless murder, and the impact that athletes before him had on the black world.
Dame isn’t just a rapper, he is a poet, too.
