Y’all can never make me hate Sexyy Red.
Sexyy Red is back with a new single called “Hang Wit A Bad Bitch” featuring Key Glock. She was running through all of our minds today because a sample of her rendition of Michael Jackson’s classic “Beat It” hit social media, and to call it awful would be an understatement. At the same time, it showcased her unapologetic style, which made her someone we love anyway.
“Hang Wit A Bad Bitch” is more serious than the “Beat It” rendition, only by a little, though. On the track, Sexyy Red delivers a sluggish, repetitive chorus while giving us her typical carefree rap delivery on the verses. As for featured guest Key Glock, he rides the beat well with a slippery flow while still sounding cooler than McDonald’s dollar menu. Sexyy speaks on her interesting interactions with dudes, while Glock talks about putting baddies through the mattress. It’s a good combo.
The track is catchy and features one of those trunk-rattling beats that would probably disrupt the listening experience if played through strong speakers.
