Beyoncé’s “Black Parade” doesn’t disappoint.
We are finally recognizing Juneteenth in America. Today, one of music’s biggest stars, Beyoncé, decided to drop “Black Parade” — a song that pays homage to the soon to be holiday.
Do you know what I love about “Black Parade?” It’s joyful, it’s inspirational, it’s empowering, and it’s exciting. Though I am not the biggest fan of how the song flows, as a black man, I enjoy its purpose and energy.
