I f**king love funky-ass R&B music! When done right, there’s nothing like a good melody mixed with a beat that does everything in its power to make you dance. “Experience” is the latest funky-ass R&B song you should pay close attention to.

“Experience” sounds like it could be a sixth remix to Doja Cat’s “Say So” hit. Throughout the song, you get glowy vocals, a lively beat, and lyrics that are beyond juicy. Though I like what Khalid and Victoria Monet tried to do on the song, unfortunately, they did not execute their plan well.

Usually, you cannot go wrong with funky music, but “Experience” is an anomaly.
