Future and Lil GotIt = Lebron and Alex Caruso (Don’t sleep, Lebron and Caruso play really well together).
“What It Was” is beyond tough. For starters, the song is powered by this riveting trap beat that has more bass than Meghan Trainor. Over it, both Future and Lil GotIt talk about their hood ways and interesting come ups. While the former hits us with a melody that is beyond intriguing, the latter sounds composed and like a calmer Young Thug.
This is the first song by Lil GotIt that I actually like.
