H.E.R. Returns With Reggae-Inspired “Do To Me”

DO TO ME

H.E.R.

OVERALL RATING (????)

”Do To Me” features a sound that I love for H.E.R.

H.E.R. has won so many awards so far that I’m sure that she is running out of space on her trophy case. Yet, she finds ways to switch her style up musically every chance she gets. Today, the Vallejo singer decided to release “Do To Me” — a reggae banger that has her sounding like the second-coming of the late Bob Marley (OK, maybe that is a bit of an exaggeration).

”Do To Me” is just as catchy as it is soulful, just as old school as it is new school, and just as romantic as it is raw. While you’re going to want to dutty wine to the song from start to finish, it will also make you want to figure out why you love your life partner as much as you do.

“Do To Me” is missing one thing: Guerilla Black!
