Lecrae Releases “Zombie”

Rating: 3.5 out of 5.

I used to be a zombie, too.

I’m eagerly anticipating Lecrae’s upcoming Restoration album. As I’ve mentioned before, he’s an exceptional rapper with the ability to craft compelling songs. Today, he dropped “Zombie,” a single that I believe is a lot of fun to listen to.

Ironically, “Zombie” by Lecrae has a vibrant and energetic sound, complete with colorful beats and catchy melodies that are hard to forget. Lyrically, the track stands out as Lecrae reflects on his past, sharing his experiences of associating with the wrong crowd, using substances, and embracing a lifestyle of excess, including his former infatuation with strippers. It’s a surprising revelation for fans, showcasing a side of Lecrae that contrasts with his current image and message, highlighting his growth and transformation over time.
