I love it when rappers remain themselves on songs that they are not supposed to fit on!
DaBaby is a lot more versatile than you think. These last two years, I’ve heard him on an AfroPop song, an R&B song, and whatever you want to call “Panini.” On “Levitating,” DaBaby tries his hand at pop music!
DaBaby makes “Levitating” more exciting by adding a verse to the song that is brash and unapologetic. Even Dua Lipa has to be surprised at how well he sounded over the song’s groovy beat.
