These last couple of years, Common has been one of the most political figures in hip-hop. On A Beautiful Revolution Pt. 1, he packages his political thoughts with fantastic music.
A Beautiful Revolution Pt. 1 is short but sweet. Even though the album only features nine songs, on those nine songs, you get timeless beats, memorable hooks, and very interesting guest appearances. You also get to hear Common talk about racism, you get to hear him motivate his people, and you get to hear him give his opinion on today’s political climate. I recommend that you give A Beautiful Revolution Pt. 1 a listen (Especially before November 2).
