DJ Scheme recruits a bunch of his unique rap friends for “Family.”
Even though I have never heard DJ Scheme’s voice before, I am fully aware of how good his ear for music is. With that being said, on Family, Scheme does a great job of putting a bunch of rappers, a bunch of singers, and a bunch of producers in positions to succeed.
What I love about Family is that it features very dynamic/strong rap verses, very powerful vocal performances, and instrumentals that range from smooth to psychotic. All in all, if you are in the mood for listening to music that switches intensity levels both recklessly and randomly, you should give the album a shot.
