THE RETURN

Chance The Rapper & Jeremih

OVERALL RATING (??????)

We need a wholesome album like “Merry Christmas Lil Mama: The Gift That Keeps on Giving” in our lives.

People have turned on Chance The Rapper. These days, he is getting clowned by folks that are half as talented as him on social media. This weekend, Chance will release an updated version of him and Jeremih’s Merry Christmas Lil Mama project from 2017. One of the songs you will hear on the project is “The Return.”

Have you ever heard of Christmas raps? Well, on “The Return,” that is what you get. Throughout the song, Chance The Rapper raps rawly about being a smile-bringer, a gift-giver, and an Amazon-abuser.

Chance The Rapper does no experimenting on “The Return;” instead, he hits us with a simple flow and lowkey punchlines.
