A hard-hitting trap anthem about confidence, motion, and celebrating success while staying locked into relentless hustle energy.
There’s plenty to like about Crae. For me, he’s from the DMV like I am, so that alone makes me believe in him. Other things he does well include picking solid beats to rap over and simply having “It” as a rapper. In his latest single, “HUSTLA,” he shows out.
“HUSTLA” features production that merges the dark elements we heard on Rick Ross’s classic “Hustlin’” track with something glitchy and more modern.
Over it, Crae talks about money, women, and moving through life with confidence and ambition. What really stands out is how he glides across the beat with a relentless flow while mixing in a melodic, unbothered tone that makes everything feel effortless. I really can’t decide which sound I like more. However you slice it, though, you end up with a track that is harder than leftover McDonald’s French fries.
