As you may know by now, G-Herbo is being accused of some weird-ass fraud s**t. In “Statement,” his latest single, he tries to clear his name in the trillest way possible.
“Statement” is powered by an updated version of The Diplomats’ “I Really Mean It” beat. Over it, G-Herbo hits us with outstanding flows. He also hits us with real-ass lyrics about his fraud case, his come up, and his boss ways. Though the song is short, I think the Chicago rapper accomplishes quite a bit on it.
When Herbo stays on beat, he’s a top-notch rapper.
