Tyga kills beats that aren’t his on “Well Done Fever” with DJ Drama.

TOP 5
5. ANTIBODY
Tyga toys with all kinds of flows, melodies, and theories on “Antibody.”
“Antibody” is probably the most complete song on this mixtape. Even though Tyga talks about some rated X s**t in his verses, I do think that clubs and radio stations will soak the song up.
4. WE PAID
Tyga manipulates the “We Paid” beat like it is a Houston Rockets executive on this song.
Since the beat attached to “We Paid” boasts menacing vibes, you get a version of Tyga that is competitive, evil, unapologetic, and nasty on the song. You also get a version of the rapper that knows how to dissect a beat like a mad scientist.
3. NIGO N BEVERLEY HILLS
Tyga does some reminiscing and some slutting on “Nigo N Beverly Hills.”
Six things stood out to me while I was listening to this song:
- Tyga and NAV sound very similar to one another.
- Tyga has been in the game for a long-ass time.
- Tyga is a slept-on singer.
- Tyga is a robot.
- Tyga is the horniest dude on this planet.
- Beverly Hills is a place for Demons.
2. FOREIGNER
Tyga proves to the world that he can kill a drill beat on “Foreigner.”
In order to kill a drill song, you have to know how to rap with swag and ride beats; Tyga does both things very well. With that being said, on “Foreigner,” a song that is powered by a drill beat, Tyga shines! Not only does he hit us with solid flows and big-boy lyrics, but he also sounds like a Pop Smoke doppelganger here and there!
1. BOPP
Tyga absolutely murders DaBaby’s “Bop” beat on “Bopp.”
The way Tyga rides the beat that powers “Bopp” is godly, miraculous, and breathtaking. The way he slyly raps about his Glock, his extravagant vacations, and his sexcapades on the song is just stupid (Stupid in a good way).
Tyga flipped the “Bop” beat on its head on “Bopp.”

OVERALL RATING

Please put respect on Tyga’s f**king name!
My biggest takeaway from Well Done Fever is this: Tyga is a gifted rapper. Throughout the mixtape, he raps with great composure, he hits us with fantastic flows, he drops clever punchlines, and he comes across as the second coming of Money Mike. He also raps over beats that fit his style (Up-and-coming rappers, understand what beats fit your style). I get it, Tyga started out as a PG rapper, but these days, he is up there with the big dogs!
Tyga’s legitimately been in the game for fourteen years. That’s longer than a lot of folks…
