Rowdy Rebel is clearly ready to take over the game.
Since Rowdy Rebel was released from jail a few weeks ago, I feel like he’s been on go-mode. Not only has he done tons of interviews, but he has also featured on a few songs here and there (Notably Funk Flex’s “Re-Route” track). Today, Rowdy decided to drop his biggest release to date, “Jesse Owens” with NAV.
Rowdy and NAV go ham, cheese, and whatever condiment that you put on your ham and cheese sandwiches on “Jesse Owens.” In their respective verses, the two rappers throw nothing but lyrical haymakers at the song’s royal beat. Matter of fact, by the time you are done listening to “Jesse Owens,” you will think that Rowdy Rebel is ready to do whatever it takes to live like a street king and that NAV is ready to go to war with the toughest answering machine on the block (All jokes aside, NAV absolutely murders his verse on this song).
