I am a Brent Faiyaz stan. The angles that he takes in his music are so unique that I can honestly say that I’ve never heard an artist like him before. Last night, Brent decided to release “Eden,” a song in which he tackles a traditional style of music-making.

Throughout “Eden,” Brent Faiyaz relies on religion to get him out of a funk that he is been in for the last couple of days. While his every word will connect with you mightily, the vocal performance that he gifts us with in the song will absolutely blow you away (He reaches notes that are higher than Pike’s Peak and toys with melodies that only true singers can make sound good). If you ever doubted Brent’s skills, “Eden” will make you look like a fool.

Only two people can make a song like “Eden:” Brent Faiyaz and Frank Ocean.
