Charlie Houston shows off her extremely beautiful voice in “Things.”

Charlie Houston is a singer/songwriter that is looking to create tunes that reflect genuine authenticity that relates to young adults. Her debut single, “Calls,” came out earlier this year and her EP, I Hate Spring, will be released April 23rd by Toronto distributor Arts & Crafts. Houston’s latest single and video release is the alternative R&B-inspired “Things.”

This laidback track of self-reflection and discovery has strong indie vibes and plenty of satisfyingly-soulful switch-ups that show off the fresh new artist’s style. Houston’s voice is like a hauntingly-beautiful siren drawing in listeners with its chilling lull while combining nicely with the smooth R&B beat. All in all, “Things” is moody, it’s quirky and completely perfect for fans of experimental sounds, R&B, or anyone looking to reflect on their inner teenage angst.
