It takes about five minutes of scouring through CJ Mensah’s music catalog to realize that he is a beast on the mic. If I were to guess, he went through some ups-and-downs to become the best version of himself. CJ must agree with me, because in “Greatness,” he talks about self-improvement and overcoming obstacles.
“Greatness” is powered by a beat that both knocks and contains hypnotizing vibes. Over it, CJ lets us know what motivates him to be great, about his superior rap skills, how relentless he is, and the demons that he battles on a daily basis. While you’re going to love how vulnerable he sounds in the song, don’t sleep on his ability to deliver his bars confidently, articulately, and powerfully.
