Blac Lou Caine

Blac Lou Caine keeps it so trill in “Out Da Gate.”

Blac Lou Caine is the real deal. What I like about him is that he is someone that understands the importance of being both unapologetic and his true self on the mic. In other words, don’t be surprised if he talks about s**t in his music that won’t resonate with folks that aren’t about that life. I also like that BLC makes powerful music that anyone can blast. In Out Da Gate with 320swoo, he hits us with nothing but authentic trap bangers.

Blac Lou Caine and 320swoo sound like they are in a zone on Out Da Gate. Throughout the album, they do fantastic jobs of hurling out truly dynamic flows, clever punchlines, extremely catchy hooks. They also do a good job of reminding folks about their trap ways, about their quick tempers, about their hustler mentalities, and about their woman-slaying mindsets (Also, don’t sleep on the explosive beats that they do work over). All in all, I think that Out Da Gate is a very solid modern-day hip-hop project.
