“What If” is a lovely R&B-style song with a powerful and important message of empowerment for communities that feel overlooked.

Bristol UK-based/Italian-Senegalese singer, songwriter, model, and ex-pro windsurfer Sasa Zola found herself drawn to the music scene while in England in 2019. Outside of music, Zola has worked as a professional model with brands like Arena, Dos Gardenias, and Diadora. In 2018, she placed third overall in the International Windsurfing Tour. Since then, Zola has decided to take a break from modeling and windsurfing to focus solely on pursuing her music career. So far, she has released two tracks, the pop single “It’s Ok” and her latest, the R&B style “What If.”

According to Zola, the track is for “those who have a voice but have not been able to express themselves freely.” It is inspired by Martin Luther King Jr.’s I Have a Dream speech. The track features smooth vocals from Zola that have an almost hypnotic quality that’s well complemented by the alluring instrumental beats. A lovely R&B-style song with a powerful and important message of empowerment for communities that feel overlooked. The emotionally-soulful “What If” is an excellent sophomore track for the rising artist.
