“Hide This Pain” is a dark emotional journey filled with moody tones and raw emotion.

US talent Patrick O’Kane’s new project ohhpatches shows off the artist’s authenticity with unfiltered and unapologetic music. Taking influence from his father’s music collection and his D.C. roots, ohhpatches is ready to inspire. His upcoming album titled P.S. I’m OK will explore the emotional state of being locked down during the pandemic. ohhpatches makes his debut with the hip-hop single “Hide This Pain” and its accompanying music video.

This track features bluesy instrumentals and some statement-making raspy vocals. A real rap about finding ways to numb out pain, the lyrically sound “Hide This Pain” floats you through some dark emotions complimented with moody tones. There’s something unique about the complication of genre blends that sucks you into the rawness and depth of the vocals and the meaning behind the lyrics.

“Hide This Pain” is a solid debut that definitely leaves me ready for what’s to come from ohhpatches.
