Remember when Russ releases were rare?
I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: I prefer a Russ R&B song over a Russ rap song. With that being said, I respect the hell out of the Atlanta rapper’s pen game. “SMALL TALK,” Russ’ latest single, will prove to you that he is more than capable of sliding on tracks.
Do you know what “SMALL TALK” reminds me of? Jay-Z’s “N***a What” hit from back in the day. The song features a fast-paced beat and flows by Russ that your ears might just trip on. It also features lyrics about brokering big deals, securing great lawyers, and shutting down folks that can’t keep up with winners.
