Hold on, Kendrick Lamar isn’t on this track!?

No disrespect to Hit-Boy, but I’m not going to lie, I got excited about this “Back In Traffic” song because it was touted as something that Kendrick Lamar is on. Unfortunately, you don’t hear Kendrick’s voice in the song, but you do at least get to feel his presence, as he helped pen the hook and Hit-Boy’s verses.

Hit-Boy puts up a fantastic rap performance in “Back In Traffic.” To be more specific, I think he hits us with great flows, he hits us with trill lyrics, and he comes across as too cool for school attitude-wise. As for featured guest KIRBY, she blesses us with an infectious hook that gives me old-school R&B vibes.
