Cordae & Common Unite For “What’s Life”

WHAT’S LIFE

Cordae & Common

RGM RATING (??????????)

I absolutely love Cordae’s appreciation for hip-hop’s older generations.

The smartest thing Cordae has ever done is drop ‘YBN’ from his name. The second smartest thing he has done (And is still doing) is align himself with hip-hop legends. Throughout the years, the DMV rapper has made songs with Q-Tip, Eminem, and more. Today, Cordae decided to release “What’s Life” with legendary Chicago rapper Common.

“What’s Life” is powered by a soothing hip-hop instrumental and nothing but wise words by both Cordae and Common. While the former hits us with raps that highlight his unf**kwitableness, the latter hits us with advice on how to move smartly in the streets. All in all, I really like the chemistry the two artists show in the song.
