Ant Clemons & Kehlani

RGM RATING (??????)

Ant Clemons will one day get his respect.

Ant Clemons and James Fauntleroy are cut from the same cloth. Both musicians do a lot of background work with other artists. The former is starting to bloom as a solo artist, as in the last couple of months, he has dropped a few singles that he can call his own here and there. Ant’s latest single, “Section” with Kehlani, is a track that showcases his spectacular singing and writing skills.

I guess you can call “Section” a slow jam. The song features a very smooth instrumental and serene vocal performances by both Ant Clemons and Kehlani. As for lyrically, the two musicians talk about needing sex more than Team USA needs a real big man. While the song might be a little too generic for me, at the end of the day, there aren’t nearly enough slow jams in the world these days, so I appreciate it.
