1017 has a next-man-up mentality. Now that Foogiano and Pooh Shiesty are in jail, a few of the other artists on the label get a chance to shine. One artist that I expect to do major things these next couple of months is 1017’s newest signee Hotboy Wes.
Hotboy Wes doesn’t disappoint in his first 1017 single. “My Lil Dance” is one of those mean-ass bangers that features a beat that was made by a trap Linus, explosive rap deliveries, and both violent and braggadocios lyrics. It’s the kind of song that I would love to listen to at a lit club.
Hotboy Wes definitely has the ‘it’ factor. He kind of reminds me of DaBaby.
