A few weeks ago, I heard a track featuring Blueface in which he dropped meaningful lyrics and flowed pretty decently. That gave me hope that the LA rapper turned the corner. With the release of his new single, “TikTok,” it seems like he’s back to his old shaky flows ways.
In all seriousness, “TikTok” is not a bad song. I f**k with everything from the California-inspired beat to the dance instructions on the hook to the reckless lyrics on the verses. I do wish Blueface didn’t sound like he just finished downing three shots vocally.
Blueface should have a sitcom. He is pretty funny.
