It’s the summertime, so you know what that means, right? We are about to get flooded with singles that are supposed to make ass shakes and folks want to eat some popsicles. The latest summertime single you should pay very close attention to is “What You Want” with Lil XXEL, Tyga, and Coi Leray.
“What You Want” is between aight and underwhelming. While I f**k with the song’s colorful beat, I don’t love the boring melodies and predictable lyrics that Lil XXEL hits us with. I am also not a fan of Coi Leray’s unorthodox/all-over-the-place verse. Tyga saves the song for me with a verse that features dynamic flows and authentically pimpish lyrics.
At the minimum, “What You Want” features infectious vibes.
