Tyga Flips A Classic For “Mrs. Bubblegum”

Mrs. Bubblegum

Tyga

RGM RATING (??????)

Saweetie punching the sky knowing that Tyga beat her to the “Laffy Taffy” beat.

When I was in college, folks viewed Fabo as a legend, and that is mainly because of what he was able to do on D4L’s “Laffy Taffy” hit (And music video). Over fifteen years after the song’s release, Tyga decided to bring it back to a world that is ready to shake their asses outside.

Nostalgic feels dominate “Mrs. Bubblegum.” Matter of fact, I think that is 80% of the reason I f**k with the song. Don’t get me wrong, Tyga definitely does his thing, as, throughout the song, he does a phenomenal job of hitting us with simple deliveries that are easy to digest, a catchy hook, and lyrics that are unapologetically freaky, but at the end of the day, it’s the spunky beat and Fabo’s wild adlibs in the background that tickle my fancy. Whatever the case may be, “Mrs. Bubblegum” is a track that makes me want to see twerkers of all booty sizes do their thing.
