Nepal native, Piyush Shakya (aka Le’Ridge), is a musician, singer, songwriter, and DJ currently based in New Jersey. According to a recent interview with the artist, Le’Ridge has had a long-standing creative passion that stems from growing up listening to western music from the ’80s and ’90s. Now his childhood dream of releasing his own work is about to become a reality. Le’Ridge’s debut single, “Another Sun,” has hit streaming services.

According to Le’Ridge, “Another Sun is a song of hope in times of despair.” The track definitely projects uplifting energy into its experience and feels reminiscent of waking up early to start a new day with a clean slate. “Another Sun” starts out with laidback rising instrumentals before eventually bursting into an energetic beat. Heartfelt lyrics like “if your dreams are failing, may hope be your choice of weapon” remind us that every day is a chance to start over and to find the positive in negative situations.
