RGM RATING (??????????)

“Visiting Hours” is the lead single off Ed Sheeran’s upcoming “=” album.

Not enough people wake up in the morning and say how amazing Ed Sheeran is. The emotions that he is able to evoke through his music always stuns me. Today, the UK singer decided to release “Visiting Hours,”  a track that will make you cry real tears (Not those fake-ass tears that you tend to get from the folks on Love & Hip-Hop).

“Visiting Hours” never lets up in emotional vibes. The song features a piano-heavy/guitar-heavy instrumental that will pull on your heartstrings, one of Ed’s most nurturing vocal performances to date, and lyrics that will strike a chord with anyone that has lost a close friend or relative (Which is everyone). These last couple of years, Ed has been through a lot. My guess is that this particular song is dedicated to a close friend that he lost a little while back.

I’m not crying, there’s just asbestos in the walls.
