RGM RATING (⭐️⭐️⭐️)
The Rich Gang movement was such an underrated hip-hop experience.
There simply isn’t enough Rich Homie Quan and Young Thug collaborations that exist. When the two rappers were on Rich Gang, they had a pretty good batting average when it came to making hits. While “Blue Emerald” is a Rich Gang song that doesn’t feature Rich Homie, it does feature a music video that will give you a flashback to the group’s heydey.
I like the music video, the first verse, and the hook to “Blue Emerald.” The second verse is mid. In the music video, Young Thug rides around with Birdman and some chicks that we probably can’t afford. As for the hook and the first verse, they are both gangsta and catchy as f**k. .
