These last couple of weeks, DaBaby has released a bunch of music. He has opted to do so in the midst of being canceled by the public. The North Carolina native’s latest release is a freestyle to WizKid’s “Essence.”
DaBaby spits competitive and braggadocios bars over the smooth and breezy Afropop beat that powers “Essence.” While I’m not necessarily a fan of the flows that he raps with, at the end of the day, I respect his fearlessness.
