Tennessee-based creative Eli Kirk is a singer and songwriter whose unique sound is influenced by emo and alternative rock music. He independently released his debut EP Step Inside back in 2019 and dropped his debut album Tyfti back in February of this year. Kirk’s latest work is the punk and emo fusion single “Dean.”
The track reminisces on love with a gritty tone reminiscent of old-school punk style. With melancholic vocals, Kirk reflects on his feelings with emotional lyrics like, “when your eyes met mine all my doubts they started to fade away” and “for you, I would do anything.” Fans of emo, punk and alternative rock will love Kirk’s raw sound and nostalgic early 00s vibe.
