DaBaby really holds nothing back in “Lonely.”
Back in November of last year, DaBaby dropped a deep-ass project called My Brother’s Keeper that mainly features songs dedicated to his fallen brother. Today, he decided to release “Lonely,” a song that I think would’ve easily fit on that project.

DaBaby lets his heart bleed in “Lonely.” In the song, he raps about having murder on his mind, about being broken after seeing his brother take his own life, and about having little trust in the people around him. While I love the aggression that DaBaby raps with, I’m not going to lie, some of the s**t that he says in the song made me cringe.
Lil Wayne chooses violence and drunkness for his verse on “Lonely.” Not only does he slur his words at times, but he also lets folks know that he’s down to shoot his gun whenever he needs to.
I really think that DaBaby is down to shoot another person.
