The reason I think it’s his most important album is that I feel his last couple of albums have been a little underwhelming. To get us hyped up for These Things Happen Too, G-Eazy decided to release “Let It Be (Freestyle)” featuring OG Maco.
How much do you want to bet that “Let It Be (Freestyle)” will end up being one of the best tracks from These Things Happen Too? The song features a soothing instrumental that will relax your muscles, very consistent flows and honest/vulnerable/braggadocios lyrics by G-Eazy, and a verse by OG Maco in which he spits bars about the principles that he lives by and the consequences that come with selling your soul. Overall, I think this freestyle is extremely Drake-ish (Especially when that random singer comes in).
