Cordae needs to hurry up and drop his brand new album.
We can all agree that Cordae’s future is bright as hell, right? At some point, we have to start saying that his present is popping. In a few weeks (Or months), I expect Cordae to drop an album-of-the-year nominee in From The Bird’s Eye View. To get us hyped up for the album, he decided to release the first single off of it, “Super.”
Cordae gives himself several pats on the back in “Super.” Over a bouncy beat that has tons of soul attached to it, the DMV rapper hits us with bars about his big checks, the famous people that he knows, and dropping the YBN from his name. I’ll be surprised if he even took a breath during the making of this song based on the flows that he uses.
