RGM RATING (????????)

A catchy pop single that offers up a dark reflection on toxic relationships.

Nashville, Tennessee-based musical creative, Moe the Natural, is a multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter, and record producer from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. With a long-standing passion for music, the artist first discovered his passion for instrumentals after learning to play the violin at nine years old. After that, Moe learned to play the guitar, bass, and piano, completely self-taught. In 2017, he moved to Nashville, Tennessee where he worked as a freelance session musician and producer. Currently, Moe’s focus is on his upcoming releases. One of his recent drops is the single “My Bad” and its accompanying music video.

Starting out with some lighthearted instrumentals that set a mellow vibe, Moe the Natural keeps the single’s sound feeling wonderfully laidback, even as his message reflects on a much darker topic. Lyrics like “You get drunk, you turn into a different person and I can’t keep hurting myself” and “You do your b?st work when I’m made to be th? bad guy” keeps things straightforward while sharing the pain that comes from a chaotic romance. The overall vulnerable sense that emits from “My Bad” only makes the single’s message stand out that much more. You don’t want to sleep on this rising artist, so check out “My Bad” for an honest look at toxic love.
