Beyoncé’s sophomore classic returns to Billboard’s top 10 for the first time since 2008.

Twenty years after its original No. 1 debut, Beyoncé’s B’Day is officially back inside the Billboard 200’s top 10.

The classic album re-enters this week’s chart at No. 8 with 38,000 equivalent album units, representing a massive 385% increase. B’Day has now earned approximately 5.5 million total units in the United States. Even more impressively, this marks its first appearance on the Billboard 200 since 2008.

Originally released in September 2006, B’Day debuted at No. 1 after selling 541,000 copies during its opening week. It became Beyoncé’s second consecutive solo chart-topper and produced several defining hits, including “Déjà Vu,” “Ring the Alarm,” “Get Me Bodied,” “Beautiful Liar,” and “Irreplaceable.”

The album’s resurgence follows the release of an expanded 20th-anniversary edition featuring remastered material, Spanish-language recordings, B-sides, and previously unreleased songs. Notable additions include the Selena-assisted “Irreemplazable (Como La Flor),” the Maluma collaboration “Cuerpo Tumbao (Get Me Bodied),” and the Pharrell-produced “Can I Watch You.”

Beyoncé also refreshed the visual component by remastering the era’s original music videos in 4K and sharing previously unseen photography.

Can you imagine returning to the top 10 and moving 38,000 units from something you created two decades ago? Beyoncé, you are absolutely unreal once again.
