Thelen Creative Adds Some Flair To “Jingle Bells”

Jingle Bells

Thelen Creative

RGM RATING (??????????)

The first version of “Jingle Bells” was created in 1898. Since then, at least 1,522 versions of the song have been released. I can honestly say that I have never heard a version of “Jingle Bells” that touched me like Thelen Creative’s version did.

It’s the holiday season, so you know what that means, right?!  It’s time to indulge in sugar cookies, Amazon, and Christmas music! While everyone has their favorite jingle that they like to listen to during this time of the year (My favorite holiday jingle is “Santa Baby”), everyone has to at least listen to some form of Jingle Bells at least once. Thelen Creative is prepping to release their form of “Jingle Bells,” and trust me, it is unlike any other “Jingle Bells” that I’ve ever heard in my life!

Thelen Creative’s version of “Jingle Bells” is slightly creepy, occasionally warm, refreshingly soulful, and enjoyably unorthodox. The song features an eccentric instrumental that sounds like it could use one more cup of coffee, vocal performances that are both comforting and sturdy, and most importantly, classic “Jingle Bells” lyrics that are delivered rather slyly. Do not expect to hear this version of “Jingle Bells” at a musical; expect to hear it on a horror movie or on a Shaft remake.

Thelen Creative’s “Jingle Bells” comes out Friday, November 26 on ALL STREAMING platforms with accompanying 2D Animated kids video available Thanksgiving day at Thelen Creative via YouTube. In the meantime, follow TC to stay up to date with their releases!
